What a blast on Sunday. Teasin’ Tina was awesome, enthralling an exceptionally large crowd at the Cold War Jets Open Day.  A perfect aborted take off demonstration by the flight crew made possible by the

 

extreme hard work over previous weekends by the dedicated and appreciated ground crew.  Bob Tux took her up to 100mph before cancelling the roll and streaming the shoot for ample photographic opportunities.  Great work by all!!!

Visit our stand at the open day to browse our selection of Victor XM715 branded polo shirts, baseball caps, men’s fleece jackets and ladies’ hoodies. Also available are Victor tanker badges, key rings and other memorabilia. All proceeds will go towards the maintenance of Teasin’ Tina and to help us keep this historic aircraft thundering down the runway for years to come.

Cold War Jets Open Day Sunday 29th May

Preparations are well underway at the Cold War Jets Museum, Bruntingthorpe for the Open Day on Sunday 29th May.  The ground crew of Teasin’ Tina have been putting in the hours with scheduled maintenance, clearing faults and sprucing the aircraft up.  Tina will be available for walk rounds from 9am with Mike Beer and the runway demos are scheduled to commence from 11am.  Tina’s run time will be published shortly.  See you there.
